Club Championships
Club Championship 2024
This year we will be running it as a more streamlined affair and giving you the power to showcase your best results from the various distances that you compete in. The aim is that it’s more inclusive for all of our competitive athletes, and means you can compete in the events that you want to and don’t need to try and shoehorn specific events into your already jam-packed race calendar for the year.
The event categories are:
- 5km/Parkrun
- 5 miles
- 10km
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Cross Country
Points will be awarded based on:
- compete in events from 3 out of the 6 categories
- we will use your best result from each category
- points awarded based on your result time in your age category. 1st – 50 points, 2nd – 49 points, 3rd – 48 points etc

Points are awarded based on your relative finishing position with other Sheffield Running Club athletes of the same gender and age category e.g 50 points for first SRC senior male, 49 for second SRC senior male etc.
